Using the 115 V socket in the rear passenger
compartment
&
DANGER Risk of fatal injury due to dam‐
aged connecting cables or sockets
If a suitable device is connected, the 115 V
socket will be carrying a high voltage. If the
connecting cable or the 115 V socket is
pulled out of the trim or is damaged or wet,
you could receive an electric shock.

Only use dry and damage-free connect‐
ing cables.
#
When the ignition is switched off,
ensure that the 115 V socket is dry.
#
If the 115 V socket is damaged or gets
pulled out of the paneling, immediately
have the socket checked or replaced at
a qualified specialized workshop.
#
Never plug the connecting cable into a
115 V socket that is damaged or has
been pulled out of the trim.

rect handling of the socket
You could receive an electric shock:

if you reach into the socket.
R
if you insert unsuitable devices or objects
into the socket.

Do not reach into the socket.
#
Only connect suitable devices to the
socket.
Requirements>

Only connect devices with a suitable plug
which conforms to the standards specific to
the country you are in.
R
Only connect devices up to a maximum of
150 watts.
R
Do not use multiple socket outlets.

Open flap 3.
#
Insert the plug of the device into 115 V
socket 1.
When the on-board electrical system voltage
is sufficient, indicator lamp 2 lights up.
