Telephone answering machine (TAM)
Playback of old messages via handset
Old messages can only be played if there are no new messages. The first recorded message will be played first
and the next message will be played automatically until there are no more messages.
1. Press m, scroll : to Answ. Machine and press OK, press OK to select Play.
2. Press
OK, the first recorded message will start to play until the last recorded message. During message
playback, you can press
m to select the available options (please refer to the options available under
"Playback of new messages via handset" on page 50).
Delete all
1. Press m, scroll : to Answ. Machine and press OK, scroll : to Delete All and press OK.
2. Press
OK again to confirm deletion of all your messages.
Memo recording
You can record a reminder message for yourself or for anyone else who uses your answering machine. The
answering machine treats a memo recording the same way it treats any incoming message, and the new
message indicator will flash accordingly.
1. Press
m, scroll : to Answ. Machine and press OK, scroll : to Record Memo and press OK.
2. Record your memo.
3. Press
OK once you have recorded the memo.
4. Press
BACK to ignore the recording.
Answering machine mode
1. Press m, scroll : to Answ. Machine and press OK, scroll : to Answ. Mode and press OK.
2. There are 2 answering modes available: Answ. & Rec. or Answer Only. The current selected answer
mode is ticked.
3. To change the answering mode, scroll
: to your selection and press OK to confirm.
Unread messages will not be deleted.
If you select Answer Only mode, the answering machine will only pick up an incoming call after a
certain number of rings but will not record any message. Your correspondent will be prompted to call
back later.
