3. Removethecenterornamentfromthe
aluminumwheelwiththetaperedendofthe
wheelnutwrenchwhichcamewithyour
vehicle.Insertandtwistthehandle,thenpry
againstthewheel.
4. Looseneachwheellugnutone-halfturn
counterclockwise,butdonotremovethem
untilthetireisraisedofftheground.You
shouldpulluponthehandleratherthanpush
todevelopmaximumforcetoloosenwheellug

thischapterforinformationonremoving
anti-theftlugnuts.

1. Placethescissors-typejackunderthesideof
thevehicleandadjustthejackheightwiththe
jackhandle.Thejackshouldfitinthenotchin
theverticalrockerpanelflangewhichisnearest
tothewheeltobechanged.
WARNING
Tolessentheriskofpersonalinjury,
donotputanypartofyourbodyunder
thevehiclewhilechangingatire.Do
notstarttheenginewhenyourvehicle
isonthejack.Thejackisonlymeant
forchangingthetire.
