OVEN : "GAS OVEN WITH SAFETY DEVICE"
HOW TO USE THE GRILL AND THE ROTISSERIE COOKING
For oven gas models, the rotisserie is supplied as an option.
Cooking with grilling or rotisserie must be done with the door ajar, and the grill
deflector in place.
To fit the rotisserie inside the oven, and for some indications of time for cooking with
rotisserie, see page 28.
HOW TO USE THE GRILL
. Turn the control knob to position "Gril" .
HOW TO USE THE SPIT
. Turn the control knob to position "ROTISSERIE COOKING" .
Always keep small children away from the oven while it is in use.
Before cooking for the first time switch the oven on and allow it to heat up while empty.
At this point you may notice a slightly smoky odour, this is perfectly normal and occurs
as the protective covering which surrounds the insulating panels is gently removed. This
covering is designed for transit purposes only and its removal will not affect the per-
formance of your oven.
Prior to use simply wipe the oven interior with a damp cloth, it is then ready for cooking.
IGNITION
The oven burner is controlled by a tap with safety shut-off device. With these burners the
control knob must be kept pressed for a few seconds, to enable the safety device to function.
 Open the mains gas supply.
 Turn the control knob to the left until pointing to
a set temperature,
 Place a flame in the central hole at the front of the
oven (see illustration) keeping the knob pressed for some
seconds to give the safety device time to function.
MAKE SURE THE BURNER IS ALIGHT
by looking the gaps at the sides of
the central hole.
 Set the desired temperature for cooking.
Note : Avoid closing the door too quickly, as this can turn off the flame of the burner.
