Optoma EH200ST Questions and Answers

#1 Does it have a digital zoom or a way to crop the sides? It seems like you would have to be spot on mounting in order to fit a screen perfectly wo zoom

It will have a digital zoom, but we usually recommend not using it. Since it can lower the quality of your image. With a short throw projector like this one, you do need to mount it pretty close to perfect. We would recommend using this distance calculator on our website to assist you with get the right throw distance and offset for your screen size.

#2 Even though it is short throw, can it be mounted 20 feet away and still be bright enough for a lit room?

This projector would not be able to project properly at a 20-foot distance.

#3 How is this projector mounted?

On the bottom of the projector there are holes to secure a mounting bracket onto it and hang it from the ceiling. You can then invert the image in the setup portion of the menu under projection.
