Westinghouse IGEN4500 Questions and Answers

#1 The fuel is gasolinera or LPG or propane gas?

The iGen4500 runs solely on gasoline. We also offer the iGen4500DF, which runs on both gasoline and propane.

#2 Is it necessary to have a charged battery in order to start using the manual pull starter?

Yes, the battery must have some residual power in order to power the run/stop toggle switch to start the generator.

#3 Do you have an inverter and silent generator similar o bigger than iGen4500 that allows to power 240 volts and 120 volts?

No. Neither the iGen4500 nor any portable generator will ever be silent. Generators contain engines and will always produce sound when running. Our WGen6000 contains both a 120V and 240V receptacle, but it is not an inverter.
