Information in the display
Problem Possible cause Remedy
The alarm symbol ;
and a refrigerator
section sensor are
flashing in the
display.
The affected refrigerator
section is warmer or colder
than the set temperature
because:
the appliance door has
been opened frequently.
a large quantity of food
was placed in the freezer
section at once without
switching on
SuperFreeze.
the power was cut for a
long time.
^
Remedy the alarm. The
alarm symbol ; will
disappear and the sensor
for the affected
refrigeratior section will
light up constantly again.
The audible tone will stop.
Depending on the
temperature, check
whether the food has
defrosted or started to
defrost. If this is the case,
cook the food before
freezing again.
The warning tone
sounds and the
power cut symbol t
appears in the
display.
The highest
temperature that
was reached in the
freezer section
during the power cut
or an interruption to
the electricity supply
to the freezer
section will be
displayed.
The temperature in the
appliance in the previous
days or hours has risen too
high due to a power cut or
interruption to the electricity
supply.
The appliance will go back
to the last temperature
setting when the power is
back on.
^ Press the alarm off
sensor.
The warmest temperature
will be deleted. The display
will then revert to showing
the current temperature in
the freezer.
^
Depending on the
temperature displayed,
you should check the
condition of food in the
freezer. If it has defrosted
or started to defrost,
check that it is still safe to
use and, if so, use it as
soon as possible.
Defrosted food may only
be refrozen after it has
been cooked.
