Please note the following advice for ice cube production:
–
Fill the water tank only with fresh, cold tap water. Hot or warm
water or other liquids could damage the water tank and/or the ice
cube maker.
–
In order to produce fresh ice cubes, the water should be changed
on a regular basis, and definitely before switching on the ice cube
maker. This will prevent the build-up of mould in the water tank.
–
Do not use water from reverse osmosis units. The appliance could
be damaged.
~
Use only genuine original Miele spare parts. If spare parts or
accessories from other manufacturers are used, the warranty will be
invalidated, and Miele cannot accept liability.
Cleaning and care
~
Do not use any oils or grease on the door seals, as these will
cause the seals to deteriorate and become porous with time.
~
Do not use a steam cleaning appliance to clean this appliance.
Pressurised steam could reach the electrical components and
cause a short circuit.
~
Do not use sharp edged objects to
–
remove frost and ice,
–
separate frozen foods and remove ice trays.
They will damage the evaporator, causing irreversible damage to
the appliance.
