VESYNC APP TROUBLESHOOTING (CONT.)
Why do I need to turn on my phone’s
location or GPS when I’m setting up my
oven?
My oven is oine.
Amazon Alexa can’t find my app or can’t
discover my oven.
• During configuration, the VeSync app will
need to access your WiFi information.
Many newer phones require permission
to access GPS or location services in order
to access WiFi information or search for
nearby WiFi networks. This is necessary
for connecting a smart product to WiFi.
1. Make sure the oven is plugged in and has
power, then refresh the VeSync menu by
swiping down on the screen.
2. Make sure your router is connected to
the internet, and your phone’s network
connection is working properly.
3. Delete the oine oven from the VeSync
app. Swipe left (iOS) or tap and hold
(Android), and tap Delete.
4. Reset the oven (see page 30).
5. Once the oven has been deleted and
reset, reconfigure the oven with the
VeSync app (see page 9).
• Make sure your wireless network router is
close enough to the oven. The oven must
be within 164 ft / 50 m visible range from
the router.
• Make sure the oven is plugged in and has
power.
• Check that your Amazon Alexa is working
properly.
• Make sure your Amazon Alexa is
connected to the same network as the
oven.
Note: Power outages, internet outages, or changing
WiFi routers may cause the oven to go oine.
