#1 Is this air purifier an energy star product?

No its not energy rated but our unit uses a DC motor which is uses lower energy than most air purifiers that use AC motors.

#2 Does this unit have a potective fuse built in? To block damage by electric surges?

The board does have electrical surge protection but not an actual fuse. The unit will shut off if there is a surge or outage. We suggest using a surge protector with the unit in case you experience electrical surges.

#3 Will it resume when power come on after an outage?

No it will not resume when there is a power outage due to safety concerns.

#4 Just got it today. Just wondering if it is OK to use on this. smaller rooms, like a small office or bedroom even though it says for large rooms?

It's acutally more efficient or effective to use in a small room. Wasnt as useful in my living room that's open to the kitchen. It is noisy on turbo but works on level 3 but not much effective as it would be on turbo.

#5 Can you leave the ozone on all the time? Or if you press the ozone button how long does it generate ozone?

You can leave it on all the time but I don't. If I want to run it in a certain room I close the door to that room. I don't want to breathe it. But it works great. I run the HEPA filter a lot. Real happy with this product.
