#1 Any parts needed to be replaced after certain period of usage?

Batteries are needed constantly and are expensive. Plug in rechargeable models are much better and last weeks without recharging.

#2 How do you clean this?

This mini air purifier doe not use filters. It does not have to be cleaned since it uses ionic technology to clean the air.

#3 Do I need to change the ions generator?

No you do not have to change the ion brushes, just charge the batteries when needed with the USB cable that is included.

#4 Do I need to replace the filter?

This unit does not have any filter to replace because its uses ionic technology.

#5 Is this allowed on airplanes?

Yes, it is allowed on airplanes. There may be a restriction of checking in luggage with battery powered devices in it but taking it as a carry-on should not be a problem.

#6 Are the ions transmitted from bristles on the top that are breakable?

Yes the ions are emitted through the top bristles. It is soft so it will not break off.
