#1 Will the power cord that is in the shape of digit 8 fit the TV?

Situation

The power connector that came with the TV is in the shape of digit “8” and it deviates from the shape of the actual connector on the back cover of the TV.
Response

This is as per the product specification and there is nothing wrong with the TV or the power cord supplied with the TV. The rounded connector type is 100% compatible with the square-shaped inlet and it can be properly connected to the TV to switch it on.

#2 How to cast the screen from personal computer (PC) to the TV?

Situation

To be able to cast the screen from the personal computer (PC) to the TV.



Checklist

Please ensure the following:



The software of the TV is up-to-date.
Both the PC and the TV are connected to the same network.
Chrome browser is installed on the PC.


Response

Casting the screen from the PC to Android TV is possible only via Chrome browser. Please follow the below steps:



1. Open the Chrome browser on the PC.



2. Select [Options] in the top right corner of the screen (three dots icon)

3. From the displayed menu select [Cast]
4. Available devices will be displayed. Click on [Sources] and select the following:



Cast tab – only the current browser tab will be displayed on a TV.
Cast desktop – everything present on the screen will be “mirrored” to the TV.
5. Done.

#3 How to take a photograph of the TV?

If you have problems with the picture quality or if the display is defective, it is advisable to provide Philips customer service with photos that clearly show the problem. Your photos will allow us to judge the situation more efficiently to provide the most suitable type of service.

Pixel defects
Horizontal or vertical lines
Image artefacts
Screen defects or other mechanical damage
Bright or dark areas
Uneven backlight distribution across the visible area of the screen
Light leakage at the edges of the screen
Burn-In problems
Error messages or unclear behaviour of the device
Signal strength or images of the CSM menu


Summary of recommended requirements:



Please send at least two photos, one photo showing the entire TV and one detailed picture of the problem.
Please take the photo in a well-lit room, i.e. under normal viewing/content consumption conditions.
Please do not use a flash or the night mode of your camera.
The images must not be blurred or overexposed.
Make sure that no private information or otherwise inappropriate content is visible on the photos.
