Troubleshooting
When removing and installing the wheel, be
careful not to damage the wheel speed
sensor and pulser ring.
Front Wheel
Removal
1.
Park on a firm, level surface.
2.
Remove the fixing bolts and remove the
left brake caliper assembly from the fork
leg.
u Support the brake caliper assembly so
that it doesn’t hang from the brake
hose. Do not twist the brake hose.
u Avoid getting grease, oil, or dirt on the
disc or pad surfaces.
u (VT1300CX)
Do not pull the brake lever while the
brake caliper is removed.
(VT1300CXA)
Do not pull the brake lever or depress
the brake pedal while the brake caliper
is removed.
3.
Remove the front axle bolt.
4.
Loosen the right and left axle pinch bolts.
