#1 What types of USB or HDD devices are supported by my Philips player?
If there is a USB connector in the front of the device, USB flash drive or HDD is supported. Requirements of the USB flash drive / HDD are as follows: File format FAT16 or FAT32 or NTFS Memory capacity No limit Power Supply to the HDD If a HDD with USB power peak current higher than 500mA is used, a separate power supply for it may be needed. Please consult the user manual of the HDD for detailed information. Tip: For optimal connection, do not use a hub.

#2 How to adjust the volume of my Philips media player?
Adjust the sound volume on the TV. There is no volume control on the media box or its remote control.

#3 What does the Database feature on my Philips player do?
Database is a feature allowing the media box to play the same type of file among different storage medium. For example, the 'music' folder shows all the music files in the SD card, USB flash drive, and HDD. The classified files are shown in three specified folder, namely 'MUSIC', 'MOVIE', and 'PHOTO'. When a storage media is disconnected from the media box, the database will be updated. The files in the disconnected storage media would no longer be shown in the folder(s).

#4 How to clean my Philips device?
You can use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth to clean your device. Notes: Before cleaning your player, you need to * Turn off your device. * Remove all connected materials such as headphone, USB cable and so on from your device. To avoid damages to your device (surface), please DO NOT use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives to clean your device.

#5 Can I connect a Wi-Fi dongle to my Philips media box?
The media box is not compatible with Wi-Fi dongle. It would freeze if it is plugged with a Wi-Fi dongle
