Ice Thickness Probe & Water Level Probe
Clean the probes using the following procedure.
NOTE: Do not soak electrical connectors in cleaner or
sanitizer solution.
1. Mix a solution of Manitowoc ice machine cleaner/
descaler and water (2 ounces of cleaner/descaler to
16 ounces of water) in a container.
2. Soak probes in container of descaler/water solution
while disassembling and cleaning water circuit
components (soak probes for 10 minutes or longer).
3. Clean all probe surfaces including all plastic parts
(do not use abrasives). Verify all surfaces are clean.
Thoroughly rinse probes with clean water.
4. Reinstall probe, then sanitize the ice machine and bin/
dispenser interior surfaces.
