Customize settings for Android Auto.

From Settings, tap Advanced features > Android Auto for the following
features:
•
Customize launcher: Choose when apps show in Android Auto and how they
appear in the car screen launcher.
•
“Hey Google” detection: Log in to your Google account and enable hands-
free voice commands.
•
Automatically resume media: Enable this to automatically continue playing
media when you start driving.
•
Google Assistant: Set your weather, home and work locations, and more for
your Google Assistant.
•
Weather: Enable this to show weather information on your car screen,
obtained using your device’s location.
Notifications
Choose how to view incoming notifications.

From Settings, tap Advanced features > Android Auto for the following
features:
•
Preview incoming messages: Enable to show the first line of an incoming
notification if your car is stopped.
•
Show message notifications: Receive notifications for new messages while
driving.
•
Show group message notifications: Receive notifications for new group
messages while driving.
•
No sound from notifications: Enable this to receive notification sounds while
driving.
