Cleaning and maintenance
4 Before cleaning, unlock and remove the
plates by pressing the release buttons on
the left side of the appliance.
5 The heating elements and any parts
visible and accessible after removing the
cooking plates, should not be cleaned.
If they are very dirty, wait until the
appliance has completely cooled down
and clean them with a dry cloth. The
upper and lower cooking plates are not
interchangeable and must be fitted in the
correct position.

Cleaning in a dishwasher: The drip tray
and the cooking plates are dishwasher
safe. The appliance and its cord cannot
be placed in the dishwasher.
Hand washing: Clean the cooking plates
using hot water and a little washing up
liquid, then rinse thoroughly to remove
any residue. Wipe them carefully with
paper towel.
Do not use metal scouring pads, steel wool
or abrasive cleaners to clean any part of
the grill, use only nylon or non-metallic
cleaning pads.
Drain the juice drip tray and wash it hot
water and a little washing up liquid. Then
dry thoroughly with a paper towel.
8 To clean the grill lid, wipe with a warm,
damp sponge and dry with a soft, dry
cloth.
9 Do not immerse the body of grill in water
or any other liquid.
10 Always make sure the grill is clean and dry
before storing.
Any repairs must be carried out by an
approved service representative.
