Use the pan only on its specially designed holder not to damage it. (e.g.: do not use it in an oven,
on a gas or electric hob, etc.).
If an accident occurs, rinse the burn immediately with cold water and call a doctor if necessary.
Cooking fumes may be dangerous for animals which have a particularly sensitive respiratory
system, such as birds. We advise bird owners to keep them away from the cooking area.
Use oven gloves, handles and knobs may become hot after prolonged use.
Always use a plastic or wooden spatula to preserve the coating of the pan.
Do not
Never leave the appliance plugged in when not in use.
To prevent the appliance from overheating, do not place it in a corner or against a wall.
Never place the appliance directly on a fragile surface (glass table, tablecloth, varnished furniture,
etc.) or on a soft surface such as a tea-towel.
Do not place the hot pan under water or on a fragile surface.
Do not move the hot appliance when in use.
Do not use metal scourers or scouring powders to avoid damaging the cooking surface (e.g.:
non-stick coating, ...).
Do not use aluminium foil or other objects under the pan, or between the heating coil.
Do not slice directly on the pan.
Do not carry the appliance using the storage strap.
Never place the appliance on or near hot or slippery surfaces; never leave the cord hanging over a
heat source (hotplates, gas stove, etc.).
Do not place cooking utensils on the cooking surfaces of the appliance.
To avoid spoiling your product, do not use flambé recipes in connection with it at any time.

On first use, there may be a slight odour and a little smoke.
The heating coil is not to be cleaned. If it is really dirty, wait until it has cooled down and wipe with
a dry cloth.
Tagine stewing - A
If you want to use the tagine function, place the food to be cooked gently on the base of the pot (2)
and put on the lid (1). Adjust the thermostat and cook until the desired result is achieved, ensuring
that the food is thoroughly cooked A.
Wok cooking - B
If you want to use the wok function, remove the lid (1). Place the food to be cooked gently on the
base of the pot (2). If food should stick to the base of the pot, do not use forks or metal utensils to
avoid scratching the non-stick coating. Use a plastic or wooden spatula to prepare your recipes - B.
