Controls
Controls on the set
1
– jack for the external USB mass storage device
2 SCAN/PROGRAM
– CD/USB: programs tracks
– FM: programs preset radio stations.
– DAB: starts DAB service scanning.
3 VOLUME
– adjusts the volume level
4 MENU
– selects DAB full scan, quick scan, manual tuning,
language and DRC value.
5 ALBUM/ PRESET + /-
– CD/USB: selects albums (for MP3/WMA only)
– FM: selects a preset radio station
– Clock/Timer: adjusts the hours and minutes
4 / ¢
– CD/USB: (press and hold) fast searches CD
tracks/files backwards/forwards
– DAB: selects a preset radio station.
– CD/MP3-CD/USB: skips to the beginning of a
current/previous/subsequent track.

– CD/USB: starts or pauses playback
– DAB: press to select an option.
– DAB: press and hold to start manual tuning.
6 IR
– sensor for the infrared remote control
Helpful hints: Always point the remote control
towards this sensor.
7 CD RIP
– records tracks in a CD or files in an MP3/WMA-
CD into a USB disk
8 STANDBY-ON/ ECO POWER
In standby mode:
– press and hold to switch the set to Eco power
mode
– press to switch the set on
In Eco power mode:
– press and hold to switch the set on
– press to switch the set to standby mode
In ON mode:
– press to switch to standby mode
– press and hold to switch to Eco power mode
9 OPEN/CLOSE 0
– opens/closes the CD door.
0 USB DELETE
– deletes a single MP3/WMA file or all tracks in a
USB disk
! SOURCE
– selects sound source CD, USB, FM, DAB or AUX
– In standby mode: switches the set on and selects
sound source CD, USB, FM, DAB, or AUX
@ STOP
– CD/USB: stops playback; erase a program
