Settings

Daydream (Screen Saver)
The Daydream setting controls what the screen
displays when the device is docked (dock not
included), or while charging. You can choose to
display colors, or display photos stored on your
device.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >
Settings > My device tab.
2. Tap Display > Daydream. Tap ON/OFF to turn
Daydream on. Configure options:
Colors: Tap the selector to display a changing
screen of colors.
Flipboard: Display pictures from Flipboard.
Tap
Settings for options.
Google Photos: Display pictures from your
Google Photos account. Tap
Settings for
options.
Photo frame: Display pictures in a photo
frame. Tap Settings for options.
Photo table: Display pictures in a photo table.
Tap
Settings for options.
3. Tap Start now to see a demonstration of
Daydream.
Change the Font Style and Size
You can set the font style and size for all text that
displays on the screen.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >
Settings
> My device tab > Display.
2. Tap Font style to choose a font style and font
size.
Tap Download to find new fonts from the
Google Play Store.
3. Tap Font size to change text size.
Set the Touch Key Light Duration
Set the length of time the Menu and Back
keys remain lit after you touch them.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >
Settings
> My device tab.
2. Tap Display > Touch key light duration to
choose a timeout period.
Show Battery Percentage
You can show or hide the battery charge percentage
in the Status Bar.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >
Settings
> My device tab > Display.
2. Tap Show battery percentage to enable this
feature.
Edit a Screen Capture
You can choose to edit a screen capture
immediately after taking it.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >
Settings
> My device tab > Display.
2. Tap Edit after screen capture to enable it.
Auto Adjust Screen Tone
You can enable the display to adjust brightness
based on the onscreen image.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >
Settings
> My device tab > Display.
2. Tap Autoadjust screen tone to enable it.
