Motions and Gestures
Control certain device actions
by touching the screen with the
palm of your hand.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings
> My device tab > Motions and gestures.
2. Tap ON/OFF on the top of the screen to enable
Motions and gestures.
3. Tap ON/OFF to enable or disable each of the
following options:
•
Direct call: Call the contact whose call log,
message, or contact details are currently on
the screen by bringing the device close to
yourear.
•
Smart alert: Set the device to vibrate when
you pick it up to notify you about missed calls
and messages.
•
Zoom: Press and hold the screen at two
points, and then tilt the device back and forth
to zoom in or out.
•
Move an icon: Press and hold an icon, then
move the device left or right to position the
icon on another page.
•
Browse an image: While zoomed in on a
picture, press and hold the screen, and then
move the device left, right, up, and down to
pan across the picture.
•
Mute/pause: Mute or pause sounds and video
by turning over the device.
