Troubleshooting
If you experience trouble with your player, try the following solutions.
1 Remove the battery and insert it again.
2 Check the symptoms in “Troubleshooting.”
3 Check the symptoms in the SonicStage Help when using SonicStage.
4 If the problem cannot be solved after checking the above references,
check the following table and then consult your nearest Sony dealer.

Battery life is short
The operating temperature is below 5°C (41°F).
This is due to the battery characteristics and not a
malfunction.
You have not used the player for a prolonged
period. Efficiency of the battery will be
improved by repeatedly charging and
discharging.
The battery pack may have reached the end of
its useful life. Replace it with a new one.
Battery charging time is insufficient. Keep
charging the battery until appears.
