NOTA: Para instalar este control se debe tender un cable de tres con-

ductores con cable de tierra entre la caja de embutir del control y la

caja de embutir del ventilador de techo.

Desconecteelsuministroeléctricoalventiladordetechoenelpanelprincipal.

QuiteelfusibleopongaelcortacircuitoenlaposicióndeAPAGADO.

4.Saquelaplacadeparedparaqueloscablesquedenexpuestosydesco-

necteelinterruptorexistente.Instaleelcontrolenunacajadeembutirde

metaloplástico.

5.Hagalasconexioneseléctricasdelasiguientemanera:

• ConecteelcableNEGROSÓLIDOdelcontroldeparedalcableNEGRO

del ventilador.

ConecteelcableAZULdelcontroldeparedalcableROJOoAZULdelventilador.

• ConecteelcableNEGROCONRAYASBLANCASdelcontroldepared

Uselosconectoresparacablesincluidosparaasegurarlasconexiones.

• Conectaelcableamarillo/verdedelcontroldeparedalcabledetierra

delacajadeembutir.

RACCORDEMENT DES FILS

ÉLECTRIQUES-:

NOTE : L’installation de cette commande exige que les trois fils con-

ducteurs et le fil de mise à la terre passent entre la boîte murale de la

commande et la boîte de sortie de courant du ventilateur.

Sivotre ventilateurde plafondestdotéd’unechaînepermettantde contrôlerles vitesseset

d’allumeroud’éteindrel’élémentd’éclairage,assurez-vousderéglerlavitesseauniveauleplus

élevéetlalumièreenpositionON,avantd’installerlacommandemurale.Ceciéviterad’obtenir

vitessesirrégulièresetpeut-êtred’endommagervotreventilateurdeplafond.

2.Assurez-vousquelacommandemuraleduventilateurdeplafondfonc-

tionnecorrectementavantdel’installer.Unraccordementincorrectpeut

endommagerlacommandeetannulerlagarantie.

Coupezl’alimentation auventilateur deplafond danslaboîtededisjoncteursprincipale.

RetirezlefusibleoumettezlecommutateurdelaboîtededisjoncteursenpositionOFF.

Retirez la plaque murale pour accéder au fils et débranchez l’interrupteur existant.

Installezl’appareildecommandedansuneboîtemuraleenmétalouenplastique.

5.Effectuezlesraccordementsélectriquescommesuit:

•

RaccordezlefildelacommandemuraleNOIRINTENSEaufilduventilateurNOIR.

•

RaccordezlefildelacommandemuraleaufilduventilateurBLEUouROUGE.

• Raccordez le fil de la commande murale NOIR AVEC UNE BANDE

BLANCHEaufilchargéde120VCA.

•

Effectuezlesraccordsélectriquesàl'aidedesconnecteursdefilfournis.

• Connecterlefiljaune/vertmurcontrôlesurlamiseàlaterreduboîtier.

NOTE: Reportez-vous au diagramme situé à l’arrière de la commande

murale.

1.Fixezlacommandemuraleàlaboîtedesortiedecourantàl’aidededeux

vis6-32x3/4"fournies.

2.Fixez la plaque avant sur la commande murale à l’aide de deux vis

6-32x1/4"fournies.

3.Rétablissezl’alimentationdanslaboîtededisjoncteurs.

Faitesfonctionnerleventilateurdeplafondensélectionnantlavitessevouluesurlacom-

mandeà cadran.Pourassurer unfonctionnement optimal,sélectionnezlavitessela plus

ÉLEVÉEjusqu’àcequelemoteurdémarreetsélectionnezparlasuitelavitessevoulue.

Ne pas brancher au fils chargé et neutre du circuit électrique car ceci pour-

MAKING THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS:

NOTE: Installation of this control requires that the three-conductor cable with

ground wire be run between the control wall box and the ceiling fan outlet.

IfyourceilingfanisequippedwithvariablespeedandlightON/OFFpull

chain switchcontrols, make sure to set thespeed control at the highest

speedandthelighttotheONpositionbeforeinstallingthewallcontrol.This

willavoiderraticspeedsandpossibledamagetoyourceilingfan.

Verifyproper operation oftheceiling fan wall controlbefore installation.

Improperwiringcandamagethecontrolandwillvoidthewarranty.

3.Disconnectpowertotheceilingfanatthemainelectricpanel.Removethe

fuseorswitchthecircuitbreakertotheOFFposition.

4.Removethewallplatetoexposethewiringand disconnectthe existing

switch.Installthecontrolinametalorplasticwallbox.

5.Makeelectricalconnectionsasfollows:

• ConnecttheSOLIDBLACKwirefromthewallcontroltotheBLACK

wirefromthefan.

• ConnecttheBLUEwirefromthewallcontroltotheREDorBLUEwire

fromthefan.

• ConnecttheBLACKWITHWHITESTRIPEwirefromthewallcontrolto

the120vACHOTwire.

• Usethewireconnectorsprovidedtosecuretheconnections.

• Connecttheyellow/greenwirefromwallcontroltothegroundingwire

fromoutletbox.

NOTE: Refer to the diagram on the back of the wall control.

Securethewallcontroltotheoutletboxusingthetwo6-32”x3/4”screwsprovided.

Securethefaceplateoverthewallcontrolwiththetwo6-32”x1/4”screwsprovided.

3.Restorepoweratmainelectricalpanel.

Operateceilingfanbymovingtheslidetothedesiredspeed.Forbestoperation,

selectHIGHspeeduntilthemotorstarts,thenselectthedesiredspeed.

WARNING! HOOK UP “IN SERIES” ONLY!

Do not connect to hot and neutral wire of electric circuit or switch will

be damaged. Refer to diagram above.
