#1 How do I level my Samsung washing machine?

One of the most important things about using a washing machine is leveling. Make sure that the washing machine is installed on a level, solid floor that is not slippery. If the floor is not level, use the leveling feet to adjust the height of the washing machine.

Checklists before leveling
Make sure that the shipping bolts are removed (Front loader only)
Make sure that the washing machine is not contacting any other object.
Make sure that the laundry load is balanced.
The motor can cause noise during normal operation.
Overalls or clothes with metal on them can cause noise while being washed. This is normal.
Metal objects such as coins can cause noise. After washing, remove these objects from the drum or filter case.
Allow at least a minimum of 10 cm of free space from the sides and back of the washing machine.
Note:

Please thoroughly read all of the important warnings and safety instructions written in the user manual.
Be careful not to injure yourself during any repairs.

#2 How do I get my clothes cleaner?

Good question! There's more to getting cleaner clothes out of your washer than just the detergent you use.
Sorting
The first thing you'll need to do, and it's kind of a groaner, is sort your clothes. It really does make a difference. All clothes have those tags that we like to ignore that tell us exactly how to wash them. It's time for us to stop ignoring them! Following the fabric care instructions is the best way to clean our clothes and make them last longer.

By sorting your clothes based off their tag information, you can bundle them up and wash a batch of clothing that all need the same cycle and temperature setting. Then do another load, with its own cycle and temperature setting. Then the next, and the next. This way, all of your clothes come out looking their best. That's why your washer has so many cycle options!

Pre-soaking
Another thing that helps is pre-treating. Applying some detergent directly to the stain or even pre-soaking it with a little detergent can help get rid of tough stains. Oh, and make sure you're using something designed for stain removal that's colour safe. Many of Samsung models come with presoak options, and some top load models even have an Activewash sink to help with this.

Loading
Finally, make sure you're using a proper load size. Yeah, many of our models are huge and can take a lot of clothing, but every washer has a point where it's just too much to run in one cycle. Since you're sorting your clothes anyway (right?) this is easier to handle. Also, be sure that you're adjusting your detergent usage to the size of each load you run; if your load is a lot smaller than usual, your detergent amount should reflect that.

#3 How much detergent should I use?

You should always read the detergent manufacturer’s guidelines for the correct amount of detergent to use. Usually, the amount is based on the load size. Even if the manufacturer instructions say to put an amount that exceeds the Max Fill line, you should NOT exceed the line. You can switch to a more concentrated detergent or run a smaller load size, so you don't use too much.

Too much detergent can cause oversudsing which can lead to problems with your washer. It can also trap dirt and redeposit it on your clothes. On the contrary, putting too little detergent isn’t good either; your clothes may not get as clean.

You’ll want to try using the least amount of detergent possible to get your clothes clean. This will save money and prevent excess detergent from building up in your washer.
Going over the MAX line in the detergent drawer will stain or damage your clothes or washer. Detergents come in different concentrations; if the amount you would need to add would exceed the MAX line, you should reduce the size of your load or use a more concentrated detergent.
