INSTALLATION
4 Power supply
z
Check your local power source.
This microwave oven requires a current of approximately 13.5 amperes, 120Volts, 60Hz
and a grounded outlet.
a) A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks of the user becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
b) Longer cord sets or extension cords are available and may be used if care is
exercised in their use.
c) If a long cord or extension cord is used:
- The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least
as great as the electrical rating of the oven.
- The extension cord must be a grounding type 3-wire cord.
- The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape the table top or
counter where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
z
Check power cord and outlet.
a) Remove all foreign substances such as dust or water from the power plug terminals
and contact points using a dry cloth on a regular basis.
b) Unplug the power plug and clean it with a dry cloth.
c) Plug the power cord into a properly grounded 3-pronged outlet. Your oven should
be the only appliance connected to this circuit.
d) Sharing a wall socket with other appliances, using a power strip, or extending the
power cord may result in electric shock or fire.
e) Do not use an electric transformer. It may result in electric shock or fire.
f) Ensure that the voltage, frequency and current provided match the product’s
specifications.
