NOTE: The LED indicator is used to indicate the working
status of the pump. When the LED is lit red, the pump is
working properly. When the LED is ashing, it indicates
the pump is overheating. Shut o the pump and let it
cool down before restarting. The pump is also equipped
with overheating protection, which will turn o the unit
automatically when the pump is running dry.
NOTE: A pump running dry may cause overheating. If the
overheating is caused by the pump running dry, make sure
the intake hose is positioned properly in the water.
6. To turn o the pump, press the O (O) side of the On/
O switch (Fig. 8). Remove the battery from the battery
compartment.
Operating Tips
This product is designed for draining or removing water
from ooded areas, clogged sinks, water basins, etc. During
operation, pay attention to the following:
1. Keep the water inlet clean and clear of all foreign objects.
Inspect the water inlet every time before operation.
2. When the water needing to be transferred contains large
particles, or is too shallow to be sucked by the intake
hose, use the equipped puddle strainer. Simply connect
it with the male end of the intake hose, twist to secure,
and place the strainer in the center of the water to be
transferred (Fig. 9).
3. As soon as the pump starts to take in air, turn o the
pump.
NOTE: DO NOT allow the pump to run dry. Damage to the
pump may occur.
4. For best results, the pump should not be placed more
than 18 ft. above the inlet source.
5. During operation, do not block the air vents. This will
cause overheating.
6. Do not run the pump continuously for more than 1 hour.
7. When job is done, turn o the pump and remove the
battery. Disconnect the intake hose and discharge hose.
Make sure no water remains in the hoses before storage.
