3.3 Technical Information

The temperature rises are based on the higher voltage values
(i.e. 240 and 120): lower voltages will cause a lower
temperature rise.
To operate correctly the unit needs the following running water
pressures:

DANGER:
Risk of electric shock!
For safety reasons, disconnect the power supply to the
heater before any service or testing is performed.
WARNING:
This heater must be electrically grounded in accordance
with the most recent edition of the National Electrical Code.
NFPA 70. In Canada, all electrical wiring to the heater must
be in accordance with local codes and the Canadian
Electrical Code, CSA C22.1 Part 1.
4.1 Install Location
NOTICE:
Appliance damage!
The water heater must be mounted on a vertical wall or
surface and positioned with water and power connections
shown in Fig. 13.
Protection areas 1 and 2
Do not install the heater in protection areas 1 and 2
( Fig. 4).
