Kasa Smart KS230 KIT Questions and Answers

#1 Can the KS230, the 3 way dimmer, work with a 4 way switch in circuit, I've tried and it does not, it does not allow the 4 way switch to work.

The KS230 Kit is designed for a 3-way dimmer wiring scenario. It is not designed for 4-way wiring and we cannot attest to its functionality in a scenario it was not designed for.

#2 I want to put this in a box with another toggle switch. Can I get a face plate to accommodate both switches?

Yes, you can remove the included faceplates from the KS230 Kit, so most multi-gang face plates should work, as long as they use the decora-style fitting for the switch(es).

#3 Can this be installed in a 4-way setup?

The KS230 Kit is designed for use with 3-way wiring.

#4 I've installed and all wiring looks right (carefully mapped), but lights will not go off now. was this also a problem people were seeing?
