BRUSHROLL SERVICING
TO CHECK THE BRUSHES
When brushes are worn to the level of the
base support bars, replace the brushroll
assembly.
TO REPLACE BRUSHROLL ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the floor brush from the
PowerMate
®
.
2. Remove PowerMate
®
cover, brushroll cover,
belt and brushroll assembly. See “To Remove
Belt” in BELT CHANGING AND BRUSHROLL
CLEANING (page 22).
3. Install new brushroll assembly.
4. Reinstall belt, brushroll cover and
PowerMate
®
cover. See “To replace belt” in
BELT CHANGING AND BRUSHROLL
CLEANING (page 22).
5. Insert floor brush into PowerMate
®
until
floor brush locks into place.
