Vehicle Identification
The VIN and engine serial number may be required when ordering
replacement parts. Record the numbers here for your reference.
The VIN (1) is stamped on the front of the frame.
Remove the radiator cap lid (page 151).
VIN ______________________________________________________
The engine number (2) is stamped on the upper side of the rear
crankcase or left side of the crankcase behind the oil check/fill door
(page 138). The location of the engine number varies depending on
the date of manufacture.
