Ceramic glass cooktop
The cooktop is made from ceramic glass, a tough material that is not affected by
changes in temperature. If cared for, it will continue to function well and look attractive
for many years.
Before using your cooktop
Before using your cooktop, please:
y Read this user guide, taking special note of the ‘Safety and warnings’ section.
y Turn the power to the cooker on at the wall.
y Make sure all control dials are turned off.
Cooking zones
y Your cooktop has four cooking zones, two of which are dual-zone. The diameters of the
cooking zones are clearly marked.
y The cooking zones, become red when turned on full.
y The hot surface indicator light will glow when a cooking zone is turned on.
y Aluminium and copper cookware can leave a metallic residue on the cooktop. Clean this
off with ceramic glass cleaner after every use. If it is left, it becomes difficult to remove.
