Delonghi EN267BAE Questions and Answers

Find answers or Ask a question.
  • Total questions: 1
  • Questions unAnswered : 1

#1 What size (height) cup will fit when the cup holder is folded
up?
It's a 6" space: My 12 oz. water tumblers fit on the drain
tray easily, as a reference. With the tray removed/pulled
out, there is still a plastic piece that juts out about an
inch from the base. I can then fit a ~7 1/2" migo
insulated coffee mug, but I have to lean/prop/rest it over
that plastic base piece. Mine worked fine this way, the
few times I needed it, but with the vibration of the unit,
you may need to hold your leaned mug until you figure
out a stable method for your own cup or mug. Nice
machine that works: definitely worth a 30-day trial.

#2 Use own coffee?
If the question is "can one use coffee capsules other
than that from Nespresso?", I don't recommend it. I am
sure there are other less expensive knock-off brands
that claim to be compatible with the Nespresso capsule
form factor and machines however these other brands
never compete with Nespresso coffee quality. If
someone seeks a less expensive machine / capsule
solution I recommend going elsewhere. I have
purchased over 20,000 capsules since buying my first
machine... The quality is worth the money.

#3 How much wattage does it take to make an expresso
When making coffee the coffee machine will use around
300 to 600 watts for 2 cups of coffee and 1000 to 1500
watts for 8-10 cups of coffee.
