How to Use the Washing Machine

Sort the laundry according to the type of fabric, care label symbol, and degree of soiling.

Do not exceed the maximum load.
■
Laundry shall not exceed the lower part of the liquid load balancer
(dotted line). Otherwise, laundry may jump out from the wash tub
while spinning and it may cause damage.
■
If no program is selected within 10 minutes, the washing machine automatically
switches itself off. Press the Power button again to turn on the power.
■
Select a program with the Program button.

You can change the combination or settings of wash, rinse, and spin operations with the
Wash, Rinse, and Spin buttons.

You can switch on the Auto Self Clean function to use program ‘P10’.

Once switched on, the Auto Self Clean function operates every time you do your
laundry. Use program ‘P10’ to deactivate the function.

Before operation starts, the laundry is weighed, and water level appear on the display.
■
Depending on the detergent brand, detergent may not dissolve completely in the
detergent tray if the water pressure is low or the water is too cold. This may be
overcome by using detergent dissolved in 1 litre warm water. Pour the solution over the
clothes in the tub prior to the starting operation.

When using softeners or bleaches, follow the instructions on the package. Scrud is
the waxy build-up that can occur within washing machines using fabric softener and
washing powder. This build-up is not caused by the washing machine. If Scrud is
allowed to build-up it can result in stains on your clothes or an unpleasant smell.
■
Detergent remained in drain route may be caused by quality of water or type of
detergent. In case of repeatedly using under this condition, it may cause washer trouble.
■
This washing machine has wash cycles that are designed to use less water. Low-
sudsing detergent must be used if the machine is to work as designed.
