Fitting the cabinet door
The cabinet door must be at least
5/8" (16mm) and no more than
3/4" (19mm) thick.
The following gaps are required:
– The gap between the cabinet door
and the unit door above it must be at
least 1/8"(3mm).
– The vertical gap between the cabinet
doors should be approximately
1/8" (3mm). The exact value will de-
pend on the radius of the edge of the
cabinet door.
If fitted in a run of units, make sure that
the top edge of the cabinet door is at
the same height as neighboring unit
doors.
The cabinet door must be fitted cor-
rectly and not under tension.
Fitted cabinet doors that exceed the
permissible weight can cause damage
to the hinges. This can cause subse-
quent functional problems.
Before installing the cabinet door, en-
sure that the weight of the door does
not exceed the maximum permitted
weight:
