Oil and Filter Change
5. Place a drain pan under the
vehicle.
6. Remove the drain plug.
7. Drain the oil.
CAUTION
Hot oil may result in serious
burns. Do not allow hot oil to
contact skin.
8. Clean the drain plug. Reinstall the drain
plug with a new sealing washer.
=19-23 N-m
9. Disconnect the lower oil delivery
hose.
10. Remove the screen fitting from
the oil tank. Clean the fitting.
11. Seal the fitting threads with
LOCTITE PST 505 or PTFE seal
tape.
12. Reinstall the screen fitting. Rotate the
fitting clockwise a minimum of 2 1/2
turns into the tank threads. Continue to
rotate the fitting until the nipple of the
fitting aligns with the mark on the tank.
NOTE: Do not over-tighten. Maximum torque
for the screen fitting is 34 N-m.
13. Reinstall the oil line.
