Basic Operation
Driving in MT mode (SXS700M2D/M4D only)
To upshift the transmission, pull the right side upshift paddle once.
To downshift the transmission, pull the left side downshift paddle
once.
After starting the engine and letting it warm up, follow this
procedure:
1.
With the shift select lever in neutral (N), release the parking
brake, but continue to press the brake pedal.
2.
With the throttle closed, move the shift select lever into drive (D)
position, and then select MT mode by turning the AT/MT switch.
3.
Release pressure from the brake pedal and increase engine speed
by gradually pressing the accelerator pedal.
4.
When speed increases, shift to 2nd gear by pulling the upshift
paddle once.
5.
Repeat this sequence to progressively upshift to 3rd (top) gear.
6.
To downshift, pull the downshift paddle once.
