Lubrication
To keep moving parts functioning properly, coat them with a
multipurpose grease (without Teflon or molybdenum additives, such
as CRC 6-56 or equivalent).
Provide lubrication when moving parts do not work smoothly. Also
lubricate according to the maintenance schedule (page 110).
Consult your dealer for more information about lubrication
procedures.
Apply grease to each pivot to prevent corrosion. Check for smooth
movement after lubrication. If the movement is not smooth after
applying grease, see your dealer.
Lubricate the cargo bed pivots as shown in the following illustration.
