To de-activate park assist:
1. Press the
OFF button to
de-activate. PARK ASSIST
DISABLED will be displayed and the
button will be backlit amber.
2. Press the
OFF button again
to re-activate. The button will be
backlit green at night time when
the headlamps are ON.
Intrusion sensor (if equipped)
The intrusion sensors are part of the
interior motion detection system,
(see Perimeter alarm in the Locks
and security chapter) and detect
an unauthorized vehicle entry by
sensing movement within the
vehicle. If dust or dirt block these
sensors, or other sensor failure(s)
occur, CHECK ALARM SYSTEM may be displayed for a few seconds
when you first start the vehicle. Do not clean sensors using commercially
available products, this will cause damage to the sensors. If the CHECK
ALARM SYSTEM persists, have the system serviced by a Lincoln dealer.
Press the RESET button to clear the message.
CLOCK (IF EQUIPPED)
If your vehicle is not equipped with an instrument panel mounted clock,
refer to Setting the Clock section in the Entertainment Systems
chapter.
Press the right control to move the
time display foward.
