WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER CONTROLS
Rotate the windshield wiper control
to the desired interval, low or high
speed position.
The bars of varying length are for
intermittent wipers. When in this
position rotate the control upward
for fast intervals and downward for
slow intervals.
Push the end of the stalk to activate
washer. Push and hold for a longer
wash cycle.
Mist Function
To operate the Mist function of the
windshield wipers, push and release
the windshield washer control
quickly. The wipers will cycle one or
two times.
Moisture sensitive wipers (if equipped)
The moisture sensitive wipers will automatically activate when moisture
is present on the windshield and the multifunction switch is set to one of
five Auto/Interval settings. The five Auto/Interval settings determine the
sensitivity of the wipers. Rotating the knob from the OFF position
towards the windshield selects a higher setting and more wipes will
occur. For fewer wipes, select a lower setting.
The wipers will continue to wipe as
long as the presence of moisture is
detected on the windshield. The
speed of the moisture sensitive
wipers will vary based on the
amount of moisture detected on the
windshield and the Auto/Interval
setting. The speed is automatically
increased at night. When the ignition is turned ON, the wipers will
perform one wipe if one of the five Auto/Interval settings is selected.
