Connecting to external audio devices
By connecting the AUX OUT jacks or the [AUX IN] jack to other audio devices, the keyboard performance on
this instrument can be output to the external device, or the audio sound played on the external device can be
input to this instrument.
NOTE
Use audio cables and adaptor plugs having no (zero) resistance.
Connecting to the AUX OUT [R]/[L/L+R] jacks
The AUX OUT [R]/[L/L+R] jacks are the standard phone jacks.
When connected to an audio recorder (such as a mini stereo system or IC recorder):
You can record performances played in the TransAcoustic mode/Layer mode/Silent Piano mode.
When connected to powered speakers or a stereo system:
You can listen to performances played in the TransAcoustic mode/Layer mode/Silent Piano mode from the
speaker.
NOTICE
To avoid damage to the devices, first turn on the power to the instrument, then to the external device. When turning
off the power, first turn off the power to the external device, then to the instrument.
NOTE
You can use the [VOLUME] control on this unit to adjust the output volume from the AUX OUT jacks.
The acoustic piano sound is not output from the AUX OUT jacks.
Use only the AUX OUT [L/L+R] jack for connection with a mono device.
We recommend that you turn the Binaural (or Stereophonic Optimizer) function off when you monitor the sound output from
this instrument on connected headphones (pages 22 and 44).
