● To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not open the case. Installation and maintenance
should only be carried out by qualified technicians.

● This product does not contain parts that can be maintained or repaired by users.
Damage caused by dismantling the product without authorization from BZBGEAR is not
covered under the warranty policy.

Introduction
The BG-USB-MR80 is a USB 2.0 that extends USB devices up to 264 feet (80 meters) over
a single category cable. The extender consists of two units, a transmitter and a receiver.
The transmitter connects to the PC and the receiver connects to the peripheral device, such
as USB printers, cameras, Storage devices, Card-Readers, and more. The BG-USB-MR80
offers the most convenient solution for long distance USB 2.0 transmission.

Transmitter Panel
1. USB Type-B: Connect to a USB host device.
2. 2-Pin Dip Switch: Use the dip switch to adjust equalization level to control transmission
distances EQ1(strongest) - EQ3(weakest).

6. RJ-45: Plug in a CAT-5/5e/6 cable that needs to be linked to the RJ-45 connector of the
receiver.
7. Power indicator: Illuminates green when the device is receiving power from the
receiver unit.
8. Signal indicator: Illuminates yellow when data is transmitted between devices.
