Introduction
The BG-USB-LR100 USB 2.0 extender can extend USB signals up to 328ft (100m) via a Cat
5e/6 cable. Connect the transmitter to a PC and the receiver to USB devices via the two
USB ports such as a flash drive or printer. The transmitter and receiver support PoC (Power
over Cable) meaning only one of the units needs to be connected to a power supply. Simple
plug and play operation means there are no drivers or software installation necessary.

● USB 2.0 protocol, transmission rate up to 480Mbps
● Extend distance up to 328ft (100m) via CAT 5e/6 cable
● One USB-B port input on the transmitter
● Two USB 2.0 ports output on the receiver
● PoC functionality means that only one unit, either the transmitter or receiver, is
connected to a powered supply.

Operation Controls and Functions
Transmitter Panel
1. USB port: Use a USB-B male to USB-A male cable to connect to the USB port of a
PC. Note: The PC can control USB ports device of the receiver.
2. POWER LED: Power LED indicator. The LED will illuminate when transmitter is
connected to/provided power.
3. DC 12V: Connect the DC 12V/1A power supply into the unit and connect the
adapter to an AC outlet.
4. CAT port: The CAT port is connected to the receiver’s CAT port by CAT 5e/6 cable.
Receiver Panel
5. USB 2.0 port: Connect to a device with a USB port such as a printer or flash drive.
6. POWER LED: Power LED indicator. The LED will illuminate when the receiver is
connected to/provided power.
7. DC 12V: Connect the 12V/1A DC power supply into the unit and connect the
adapter to an AC outlet.
8. CAT port: The CAT port is connected transmitter’s CAT port by CAT 5e/6 cable.
