1. Health and Safety Information
• IMPORTANT: Read this leaet in full before using this
product and retain it for future use. Always use the latest
version of the leaet. Please visit
drapertools.com/manuals for the latest version.
• The national regulations with regards to the use of the
mask and lters must be followed exactly.
WARNING!
The product must be used before the
expiration date. The respirator helps to protect
against certain airborne contaminants. For proper
use follow the instructions for both the lter mask
(03021) and lters (03030). Improper use may
cause serious injury, harm to your health or death.
• Failure to follow all instructions and limitations when
using the respirator and/or failure to wear the respirator
during exposure can reduce the protection eciency and
may result in sickness or death.
• The dust, fumes, mists, gases and vapours which can be
dangerous to your health may not be visible.
• Leave the contaminated area immediately and replace the
respirator/lters if:
The respirator becomes damaged.
You taste or smell contaminants or an irritation occurs.
Breathing becomes dicult.
Dizziness or other distress occurs.
• The lters must be replaced as soon as increased
breathing resistance occurs.
• Stay away from the contaminated areas when replacing
the lters.
• DO NOT abuse or misuse this mask.
• ALWAYS check that the face mask forms a tight seal
and that lters are tted correctly prior to use and
before entering a hazardous area.
• Inspect the mask parts for cracks, wear and tear and the
head strap for tightness before each use to ensure that it
is in good operating condition. The face piece should be
replaced upon observation of damaged or defective parts.
• It is unlikely that the requirements for leakage will be
achieved if facial hair such as beards or moustaches
passes under the face seal.
• Usage limitations:
The mask does not supply oxygen. DO NOT use in
atmospheres with less than 19.5% oxygen.
DO NOT use this mask in oxygen-enriched air, when
oxygen concentration >23.5%, it becomes hazardous
when the concentration increases. Fires in oxygen
enriched atmosphere starts easily with electrostatic
sparks and are very intense.
DO NOT in explosive atmospheres.
DO NOT use when the concentration of contaminants
are either unknown or immediately dangerous to life
and health.
2. Usage Instructions
Note: Suitable for use with A1P2 Filters (Stock No 03030).

class.
• Check the integrity of the respirator regularly and replace
the lters as soon as the wearer begins to smell or taste
the contaminant or an irritation occurs.

Fig.5 to Fig.8.
WARNING!
Perform a negative pressure face t
check. If you cannot achieve a proper t DO NOT
enter the contaminated area.
2.1 Negative Pressure Fit Check
1. Seal both respiratory lters with your palms and breathe
in until a negative pressure (suction) is generated (Fig.8).

to eliminate the air leakage.

• Store in the mask’s original packaging or in a container
away from the contaminated area when not in use. Store
in a dry clean area out of direct sunlight.
