1. Health and Safety Information
• IMPORTANT: Read this leaet in full before using this
product and retain it for future use. Always use the latest
version of the leaet. Please visit
drapertools.com/manuals for the latest version.
• The national regulations with regards to the use of the
lter must be followed exactly.
WARNING!
The lters must be used before the
expiration date marked on them (Year/Month
'YYYY/MM'). The lters help to protect against
certain airborne contaminants including toxic
dusts & bres as well as aqueous mists. For proper
use see instructions for both the lters and
respirator mask (03021). Improper use may cause
serious injury, harm to your health or death.
• Before use check the surroundings (type and
concentration of the dangerous materials) and that the
lters are suitable for the required application.
• NEVER use the lter under the following conditions:
− In an oxygen enriched environment (oxygen
concentration >23.5%). Fires can start easily with
electrostatic sparks.
− When the concentration of harmful gases exceeds 0.1%.
− When there is a risk of explosion.
− Close to sources of ames or liquid metal droplets
that may cause serious risk due to ignition of active
carbon in the lter generating high levels of toxic
substances.
− In unventilated containers, pits, canals or narrow
rooms.
2. Markings on Filters

3. Usage Instructions
Suitable for use with Draper 03021 Vapour and Dust
Filter Respirator.
• Check the packaging and lter prior to use. DO NOT use if
there are any signs of damage such as holes or tears in the
packaging or the lters are deformed, cracked or show
signs of fatigue.
• Read both the lter and lter mask instruction leaets
carefully before tting the lters to the mask.
• Replace the lters as soon as increased breathing
resistance occurs.
• The lter is designed to protect against particles, ne
dust, water-based mists and liquid based aerosols. Check
the marking on the lter to ensure appropriate for your
application.
• Replace the lter away from the contaminated area.
• Important: Facial hair such as beards can prevent a tight
seal when mask tted.

3.1 Storage & Cartridge Shelf Life
• After use remove the lters from the face piece and store
them separately.
• Store in a container away from the contaminated area
when not in use.
• The lters should always be tted or replaced in pairs and
the replacement lter should be of the same type and
class.
• Spent lters should be disposed of responsibly and in line
with local regulations. Recycle where possible.
• Always check the expiry date stated on the packaging and
lters (Year/Month = YYYY/MM) before using. DO NOT use
the lters after the expiry date or if the packaging is
damaged.
• Check the integrity of the respirator and replace the lters
as soon as the wearer begins to smell or taste the
contaminant or an irritation occurs. Store in a dry clean
area out of direct sunlight.
