Installation
USB-C docking station enables a high-quality gaming experience with a Steam
Deck or similar handheld gaming device to a connected display
Supports video resolutions up to 4K @ 60 Hz when connected to the HDMI
port of a compatible display
USB-A and USB-C data ports support data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps for
connecting a keyboard and mouse, wired controller and external storage drives
Connect to a Gigabit Ethernet network via the RJ45 port
100W PD charging port allows the handheld to be charged during use by
connecting to a USB-C PD charging enabled power adapter and compatible
cable
Plug-and-play, no software or drivers required

Note: The USB-C charger (power supply) that connects to this USB-C docking station must be
certified for safety (UL/CSA/IEC/EN 62368-1) for the region in which the device will be used.
1) Place a Steam Deck or comparable handheld gaming console that supports
USB-C input and charging into the cradle slot on the U442-DOCKSD-1. Then
connect the USB-C input cable on the dock to the USB-C input port of the
device.
2) Connect an HDMI cable between the HDMI port on the dock and the HDMI
input on a monitor or display.
3) Connect a keyboard, mouse, wired USB controller or external storage devices
to the dock’s USB-A or USB-C ports.
4) Connect to a wired Ethernet network by plugging a Cat6 patch cable into the
dock’s RJ45 port and the router’s RJ45 port.
5) Charge the device by connecting a USB-C charging cable to the USB-C PD
charging port on the dock and to a compatible USB-C PD charger.
Note: The charging cable and charger should both support the same charging output.
