GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
The warnings, precautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible
conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and
caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator. Read
carefully and understand all ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS before operating. Failure to
follow the safety rules and other basic safety precautions may result in serious personal injury.
The battery charger should be used in a well ventilated area outdoors, to avoid an accumulation of gasses.
Avoid using the battery charger in wet conditions.
Remove the caps from the battery’s elements before beginning to charge.
Check the level of electrolytic liquids covers the batteries elements; otherwise add distilled water up to the
level indicated on the battery.
Do not touch the battery’s electrolytic liquid, it is very corrosive.
Clean the battery’s terminals to ensure correct contact with the pliers.
Avoid contact between the pliers when the charger is operating.
If the charger is used for a battery that remains installed on a vehicle, comply with the instructions of the
vehicles manufacturer.
Check that the charger’s features are compatible with the battery and the power supply network, a grounded
power outlet is necessary.
Do not expose the battery to rain, snow or other sources of humidity.
The appliance and battery should be used far away from any ames, sparks and do not smoke while using
the charger.
Only charge rechargeable batteries. The charging of non rechargeable batteries or other products are
prohibited.
Never attempt to charge a frozen battery.
Do not install or operate a dropped or otherwise damaged charger.
Remove watches, bracelets or anything of that nature before working on the charger.
Do not touch any uninsulated parts or components when the power is ON.
Do not obstruct the ventilation openings or the airow space.
The Battery Charger is not intended for use by children, or anyone with reduced sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.
The battery terminal is not connected to the chassis and has to be connected rst, the other connection
is to be made to the chassis, remote from the battery and fuel kine. The battery charger from the supply
mains, then remove the chassis connection and the battery connection. If the supply cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer.
Do not discard this battery charge with other household wastes. Dispose it at an appropriate
recycling, collection point provided in your state or county.
