Operation
1. Press the start button and adjust the depth of the cutting blade using its adjustment knob.
2. Feed smaller insulated wires through the narrower bottom hole. Feed wires with a diameter
between 5 and 14.5 millimeters through the wider top hole. For larger wires, turn off the
machine and remove the two bolts holding the safety guard in place. Remove the guard itself,
turn the machine back on, and carefully feed your wire directly into the machine. (Remember
to turn the machine back o before using the bolts to reattach the security guard.)
3. Peel the insulation off of the wire. If the cut is not deep enough to remove the insulation,
further adjust the depth of the cutting blade.
Maintenance
• Periodically clean the machine of dust and debris with a soft cloth wetted in a mild detergent
solution. Do not use harsh chemicals.
• Regularly inspect the bolts, screws, and moving parts of the machine. Ensure that they are
properly tightened before use.
• Brush away any debris created by the cutting of the insulation before it accumulates under
the blade.
