Before using the electrical appliance, the following basic pre-
cautions should always be followed including the following:
Read all instructions.
Before using, check that the voltage of wall outlet corre-
sponds to rated voltage marked on the rating plate.
To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons,
do not immerse cord, plug in water or other liquid.
Remove plug from wall outlet before cleaning and when
not in use. Allow appliance to cool down completely
before taking off, attaching components or before clean-
ing.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or
plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or
damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair or elec-
trical or mechanical adjustment.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by
the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric
shock or injury to persons.
Place appliance on flat surface or table, do not hang
power cord over the edge of table or counter.
Ensure that the power cord do not touch hot surface of
appliance.
Do not place the coffee maker on hot surface or beside fire
in order to avoid being damaged.
To disconnect, remove plug from wall outlet. Always hold
the plug. But never pull the cord.
Do not use appliance for other than intended use and
place it in a dry environment.
Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is
being used near children.
Be careful not to get burned by the steam.
Do not touch the hot surface of appliance (such as steam
wand, and the filter just boiled). Use handle or knobs.

Do not let the coffee maker operate without water.
Do not remove the funnel when appliance in brewing
coffee or making steam.
Connect plug to wall outlet before using and turn any
switch off before plug is removed from wall outlet.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (includ-
ing children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliances by a person responsible for their
safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and
similar applications such as:

Save these instructions.
If you won’t use the product for a long time, you need to
turn on the power and then release steam for 3 minutes
before leaving this product.
If you cut off power during steam release, residual heat
will make product continue to release steam for a length
of time, the product will stop releasing steam immediately
once you turn off steam knob.

To ensure the first cup of coffee tastes excellent, you should rinse the coffee
maker with warm water as follows:
There may be noise when pumping the water for the first time, which is
normal. The appliance is releasing the air inside. After about 20s, the noise
will disappear.
Pour water into the detachable water tank, the water level should not
exceed the “MAX” mark.
Set the filter into the funnel (no coffee inside).
Place an jug underneath. Make sure the knob is on the OFF position.
Connect the power supply and press the power button once, the indica-
tor light will flash. This indicates that the machine is in the preheating
stage.
Press the single or double-cup button, the pump will pump water. When
there is water flowing out, press the single or double-cup button to stop.
Pour the water in the jug out, then clean thoroughly. Now you can start
brewing.

Note: Recommended single coffee cup is approximately 1.35 fl. oz, double
coffee cup approximately 2.37 fl. oz.
To make a cup of good hot Espresso, we recommend you preheating the
appliance before making coffee, including the funnel, filter and cup, so that
the coffee flavour can not be influenced by the cold parts.
WARNING: Do not leave the coffee maker unattended during making the
coffee!
Fill the tank with clean potable water.
Select the filter and put into the funnel.
Make sure the tube on the funnel aligns with groove of the brewing head,
then insert and turn the funnel anticlockwise to firmly fix into the appli-
ance.
Place an espresso cup underneath.
Make sure the steam control knob is on the close position. Then connect
the power supply.
Press the power button one time, the indicator blinks. After finish preheat-
ing, the coffee indicator lights solidly.
Press the single or double-cup button. When there is water flowing out,
press the single or double-cup button to stop.
The funnel, filter and cup are warmed up. Pour the water in the cup out
(the cup could be placed on the top of the machine) and remove and
dry the filter after turning it clockwise. Now you can start brewing.

Add ground coffee with measuring spoon (a spoon ground coffee power
can make about a cup of top-grade coffee). Then press the powder
tightly and evenly with the tamper of the spoon.
Put the funnel with filter into the appliance, and press the single or dou-
ble-cup button.

Favorite function allows you to obtain your desired extraction volume
each time. Press the favorite button once to start extraction. When the
desired extraction time is reached, press the favorite button again to
stop extraction. The brewing time is 60 seconds at most, and the water
pump will stop working if the working time exceeds 60 seconds.

Making Hot Water
After finishing making the coffee, take the funnel out, then pour the
coffee residue out. Let them cool down completely, then rinse under
running water.
If there is no any operation within 25 minutes, the unit will power off
automatically.

The extraction time can be adjusted according to personal preference.
Press and hold the single or double cup button for 3 seconds to enter the
custom mode, then press the corresponding button again to start the
brewing.
When the desired time is reached, press the corresponding button to end
the process. The mode is saved now.
Valid time of single cup: 15 to 25 seconds.
Valid time of double cup: 25 to 45 seconds.
The shortest time will be recorded if the set time has not reached the short-
est time yet.
Hot water could be used to warm cup, make tea or cool down the appli-
ance.
When the preheating is finished, counterclockwise turn the knob and the hot
water will flow out from the steam wand. To stop making hot water, turn off
the knob.
Making Frothed Milk
You get a cup of cappuccino when you top up a cup of espresso with
frothed milk.

After using the steam function, the coffee cannot continue to be made
immediately and the single-cup and double-cup lights keep flashing
which is a high-temperature alarm.
At this point, the knob needs to be turned counterclockwise to the
steam/hot water position. The steam wand will release water to relieve
pressure and cool down.
About 20 seconds later, the steam wand stops discharging water and the
steam icon flashes, indicating that the pressure relief is complete.
Reset the knob and all icons light up, meaning that you can continue to
make coffee now.
Prepare espresso first with container big enough according to the part
“Making Espresso”, make sure that the steam control knob is at the “OFF”
position.
Press the steam button, wait until the indicator is illuminated.
Fill a jug with about 3.38 fl. oz of chilled whole milk for each cappuccino
to be prepared.
NOTE: In choosing the size of jug, it is recommend the diameter is not
less than 2.76 ± 0.20 in, and bear in mind that the milk will increase in
volume by 2 times, make sure the height of jug is enough.
NOTE: Never turn the knob rapidly, as the steam will release rapidly in
short time, which may increase the potential of the risk of scalds.

Insert the wand into the milk lightly and turn the knob anticlockwise to
froth the milk.
When the required amount is reached, you can close the knob.
Clean the wand with wet sponge immediately after steam stops gener-
ating and release the steam for several seconds to rinse clean inside the
wand.
Pour the frothed milk into the espresso prepared, now the cappuccino is
ready.
Press the power button to cut the power source off. All indicators will be
extinguished.

Turn the knob anticlockwise to pre-release the steam for several
seconds to stabilize the steam, then reset the knob.

Tips For Releasing Pressure

Cut off power source and let the coffee maker cool down completely
before cleaning.
Clean housing of coffee maker with moisture-proof sponge often and
clean and dry the water tank, drip tray and drip plate regularly.
NOTE: Do not clean with alcohol or solvent cleanser. Never immerse the
housing in water for cleaning.

In standby mode, make the descaling solution of about 33.81 fl. oz as
ratio of 1 : 20 (cleaner : water).
Press and hold the steam button for 3 seconds to enter the cleaning
program. After the liquid is discharged for 25 seconds, let it stand for 5
minutes (the single and double cup light flash).
After two cycles (first discharging 8.45 fl. oz), the steam icon will flash.
You need to turn the knob on, and the steam wand will discharge water
for 60 seconds (then discharging another 10.14 fl. oz). After all four lights
flash 5 times, the steam light will flash, indicating that the knob needs to
be reset. The whole process takes approximately 12 minutes.
After resetting, it will enter the standby mode. Users need to clean the
water tank and add 33.81 fl. oz of clean water. Click the favorite button to
perform a 60-second cleaning.
After the user uses it 500 times, the indicator light will alert for cleaning.
After the cleaning is completed, the count will be reset to 0.

After each brewing, detach the funnel and get rid of coffee residue
inside the filter, then you can clean it with cleanser, but at last you must
rinse with clear water.
Clean all the attachments in the water and dry thoroughly.

The descaler is not recom-
mended type. It may
corrode the parts.
The coffee powder is stored
in a hot, wet place for a long
time. The coffee powder
turns bad.
There is some coffee
powder on the filter edge.
No clean correctly after
cleaning mineral deposits.
The container is too big or
the shape is not fit.
You have used skimmed
milk.
There is much water in the
drip tray.
The coffee maker is
malfunction.
Please clean the drip tray.
