Warranty By Product Group
Klein products, manufactured and sold for commercial or industrial uses, are warranted to be free from defects in
materials and workmanship for the normal life of the product. This warranty does not apply, for example, to damage
from alterations, abuse, accidents, misuse, lack of maintenance, or normal wear and tear. With the exception of: 1)
Electronic Test & Measurement products (see warranty below); and 2) Ratcheting and Drill-Operated Cable Cutters
which are warranted for one year from the date of purchase.
The following consumable products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship when
delivered to the customer: Triple-Taps, Drill Bits, Step Drills, Carbide Hole Cutters, Hole saws and Arbors; Saw
Blades and Jab Saws; disposable Razor and Knife Blades; Stripper Cartridges, Replaceable Cutting Inserts, Bits
and Blades; Voice/Data/Video Connectors; Klein Chemicals, Hand Cleaners and Wire Pulling Lubricant.
THERE ARE NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTIBILITY OR FITNESS. At its option Klein will
repair or replace, or refund the purchase price of, any product which fails to conform to this warranty under normal
use and service.
In no event shall Klein be liable for incidental or consequential damage.

Electronic Test & Measurement Warranty
Klein electronic test and measurement devices (and accessories), manufactured and sold for commercial or industrial
uses, are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase
(unless otherwise noted on the product packaging). The MM5000 and MM6000 are warranted to be free from
defects in materials and workmanship for five years from the date of purchase (unless otherwise noted on the
product packaging). THERE ARE NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTIBILITY OR FITNESS. At its
option, Klein will repair or replace, or refund the purchase price of, any product which fails to conform to this
warranty under normal use and service. In no event shall Klein be liable for incidental or consequential damage.
This warranty does not apply to batteries.
Stubby Mug™ and Insulated Beverage Hauler Limited 5 year Warranty
Klein Tools, Inc. warrants that the Klein® Stubby Mug™ (98705) and the Klein® Insulated Beverage Hauler
(98005) will be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use, for a period of five years from the
date of original purchase. At its option, Klein will repair or replace, or refund the purchase price of, any product
which fails to conform with this warranty.
All implied warranties, including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability and implied warranties
of fitness for particular purpose, are limited in duration to a period of five years from the date of original purchase.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to
you.
In no event shall Klein Tools be liable for incidental or consequential damage. Some states do not allow
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to
you.
This warranty gives specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. If your
Klein product requires repair or for information on how to exercise your rights under the terms of this warranty,

Cordomatic 6-Month Warranty
Each product carrying the Cordomatic Trademark is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for (6)
six months from date of purchase. During this warranty period these products will be repaired or replaced at
Cordomatic’s option at no cost to you.
This warranty does not apply if the product is repaired by unauthorized persons or has been improperly mounted,
abused, mishandled or operated at a voltage and amperage exceeding that shown on the name plate or instruction
manual.

WARRANTY RETURNS
All warranty returns must include a Warranty Return Authorization (WRA) number. The WRA for the U.S. can be
obtained by calling Customer Service at 1-800-553-4676. (International call 1-847-821-5500) or email

Dimensions shown for all forged products in this price sheet are as precisely accurate as possible, but subject to very
slight variations that are unavoidable in forging and grinding operations. Dimensions of Klein forged tools and all
other tools and equipment are always within commercial tolerances recognized for such products.
Grip Repair Service
Effective April 1, 2011, Klein Tools will no longer offer the service of grip repair and/or refurbishment. However,
Klein Tools will continue to offer the service of recommending the proper grip for a particular application based on
a sample of cable. There is no charge for this service. All that we require is a minimum 3' (about 1 meter) length of
cable. Please contact customer service for further details. Klein Tools has been manufacturing grips for over 135
years. All authentic Klein Grips are manufactured and tested in the USA, in company owned plants by American
workers. Before leaving our manufacturing plant, each and every authentic Klein grip is individually hand inspected
and actuated for proper function. Never repair any grip. Grips that are bent, misaligned, or otherwise distorted
should be discarded and replaced.
