Before you begin STEP 1: Unpack
The MODEL M4 is designed
to add HEOS multi-room
audio functionality with the
convenience of a centrally
located and rack-mountable
multi-channel amp.
Make sure you have the following items in working order:

mobile device connected
to your network
Speakers &
Speaker Wires
Internet
Connection
Network
router
Carefully unpack your new MODEL M4.
Verify that the following items are included in the box.

STEP 2: Place
Place the MODEL M4 on a sturdy shelf.
Mount in a rack (Optional)
Remove the two screws on each side of MODEL M4.
Align the included rack mount brackets with the screw
holes and reattach the screws making sure they are secure.

Remove the feet on the bottom of MODEL M4.

Rack mount the MODEL M4 using the included rack
mount brackets.

STEP 3: Connect
Connect up to 4 pairs of speakers.

Connect the power cord.
Choose proper power cord in your region.

Turn on the power switch.

included Ethernet cable.

STEP 4: Control
Download the HEOS app.
Go to the Apple App Store, Google Play or Amazon App Store and
search for “HEOS” to download and install.

Launch the HEOS app and follow the instructions in the app.
